Makana Solutions Appoints Larry D'Angelo VP Of Business Operations

Lexington, Massachusetts - May 7, 2008 - Makana Solutions Inc. today announced the appointment of Larry D'Angelo to vice president of business operations. D'Angelo, an executive with 20 years' experience with technology solutions, will manage sales, marketing, customer service, and support of Makana Motivator[SM] incentive compensation software.

"His proven ability to understand customer needs--and to build a scalable infrastructure to deliver them - will ensure that the growing Motivator subscriber base receives continual enhancements in value and quality of service."

D'Angelo brings more than 20 years of software sales and business operations experience to Makana. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of sales at Autotask, a SaaS provider of professional services automation software. Prior to Autotask, he ran Worldwide Field Operations at iPhrase Technologies, a search engine applications company, where he increased revenue for three consecutive years and managed a successful acquisition by IBM. Before iPhrase, D'Angelo served as vice president of sales for DataPower Technologies and vice president of worldwide sales at Revenio, acquired by Vignette. D'Angelo earned a B.S. in Optical Engineering from the University of Rochester.
