Call Centre Planning 2006, the fifth annual conference of the Professional Planning Forum, returns to Glasgow on April 25-26, close to where it began in Edinburgh in April 2001, following hugely successful events in London, Liverpool and Birmingham.
Only a few weeks away, this year's conference is forecast to be the biggest yet – with over 250 workforce planners, MI analysts and call centre managers or project executives.
This is the major event of the year for contact centre planning and a unique chance to meet colleagues and vendors in one time-efficient conference, with the conference exhibition including most of the leading industry suppliers of workforce optimisation solutions. Sponsors include QPC, Witness and Teleopti and CCF are Official Media Sponsors.
The conference agenda includes a choice of five parallel sessions, allowing you to catch up with case studies, technology updates and practical workshops on key skills for planners and analysts.
Speakers include Tesco, Yell, West Midlands Police, Pembrokeshire Council, Cahoot, Coventry Building Society, HBOS, Lloyds TSB and P&O Ferries – all finalists in the 2006 Contact Centre Innovation Awards which are presented at the conference.
Feedback, from previous years, shows high satisfaction, nearly half highlighting the networking opportunities. "I can bring new ideas to problems which have been solved in other organisations", explains Stuart Jones, Head of Planning at T-Mobile UK.
Don't leave this on the back burner. Research by the Planning Forum showed that with advance booking on the internet it was cheaper to fly to Glasgow from many cities than it was to drive last year's venue in Birmingham! And if you're lucky enough to be within driving or walking distance, don't miss the chance to join in this year when the event is back in Scotland.
The Professional Planning Forum, who organise the conference and the awards, are the independent industry body for best practice and professionalism in contact centre resourcing and planning.
